Please register to help the San Antonio Apartment Association block walk for our friend, Councilwoman Sukh Kaur. The councilwoman is running for another term on the San Antonio City Council and she is a proponent for rental housing. We wish to show our support and help her campaign by participating in this fun advocacy activity.
Block walking is the most common political canvassing technique in which volunteers visit the homes of voters to briefly talk about the candidate and ask simple questions about how the voters plan to vote in the election.
You will download a phone app that will give you a script on what to ask and say. You will record the answers in the phone app. It is that easy!
The San Antonio Apartment Association will provide you with a t-shirt when you arrive for block walking and you will be done by 12:00 PM.
